About me

Having worked with music as a DJ and Producer for 35 years, I want to share my experience with anyone who might not have the knowledge or confidence to begin their musical journey.

I was lucky enough to DJ at some of the biggest night clubs including The Ministry Of Sound. I achieved club chart success as "S1000" with the release of my own music (link to my YouTube page in site footer), along with remixes for artists such as The Shamen, Bjork and The Art Of Noise.  I can still be found behind the decks at various events, playing Soul, Disco and House music, but my musical tastes are eclectic!

Outside of music I have 40 years experience working in IT.

I have a keen interest in music therapy, and particularly enjoy working with students with ASC and SEND, providing confidence and support in a safe, engaging and low-demand environment.

I am currently studying towards my Understanding Autism Level 2 qualification, and welcome Home Educated children, being flexible around busy schedules. â€‹

I volunteer for Kane FM as an audio engineer on their award-winning “Mindwaves” community project, helping neurodiverse and disadvantaged young people find their voice through music.

As a young child I found music that made sense of my feelings, and always felt I wanted others to hear my music. Your music will always be personal to you, but it can also be a voice  that can be heard by all.

Whether you write, produce or play music to people it can be a voice.

Your voice gives you power!
